"I have this prolifically blossoming choisya in my garden – a shrub that often goes by its common name of Mexican orange blossom, and for good reason. It smells amazing! It smells of ripe oranges, but with this heady floral halo and a spicy green undertow. This wine smells exactly like that shrub, and I know that because I have just been outside to check that I am not being imaginative. On the palate it has the green spice but with a fennel-herb aniseedy freshness, along with delicate white stone fruit and then the faintest hit of the choisya orange blossom florality. But it finishes firm, with a touch of mountain-stream pebble that rolls cool and subtle in the mouth. Good Value."
