Château Rieussec has been a leading wine in Sauternes for several generations. Ranked as a Premier Grand Cru in 1855, it is made with a subtle blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle.
Lovely yellow colour, darker and more golden than most. A nose of honey and angelica with a balsamic aspect of resin and incense. The palate has wonderful finesse and a mineral note rare in this vintage. Fine balance between the wine's fatness and freshness. Top quality, as usual.
