The Sancerre Red is obtained from the Pinot Noir grape variety which we cultivate with the greatest of care and attention. The grapes are therefore hand-selected and undergo a cold pre-fermentation maceration for 3 days, spending an average length of time in tank. Our Sancerre Red is aged for 6 months in oak barrels previously used for 1 to 6 vintages.
This red has delicate sweet fruit. The nose has an almost floral character and the palate displays sweet raspberry fruit, medium body, soft tannin and gentle acid. If you are a fan of elegant Burgundy, this wine is sure to appeal.
