Clear, shiny, ruby red with cherry highlights. The varietal aromas of the Merlot express themselves with notes of redcurrants and black cherries. The attack is frank, the morello cherry and the vanilla accompany a final licorice and ample. With tannins that are both soft and omni-present, Drink now or age for 5- 8 years.

'Purplish crimson with a shaded rim. Dense and ambitious. Still a bit of tannin in evidence but every bit as good as many wines with grander appellations. (I assume this Entre-Deux-Mers wine is AOC Bordeaux; my bottle does not have a back label.)
