The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with bright, juicy acidity, fine tannins and a peppery lift on the finish. Gamay at its most elegant and joyful.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eDavid Chapel and Michele Smith-Chapel set up the domaine after time working alongside Marcel Lapierre and Jean-Louis Métras, two of the great names in natural Beaujolais. This cuvée comes from two steep, high-altitude parcels in Chiroubles, Saint-Roch and Poullet, sitting at around 400 metres on pink granite and sandstone.
