Complex and mineral aromas with hydrocarbon notes. Powerful palate, balanced with a well integrated acidity that will bring to the wine a long life. Full bodied, silky, long, persistent and elegant.
"100% Garnatxa Blanca/Grenache Blanc. Eight months in oak barrels. Unfiltered. Smoky green cardamom and tarragon and caraway aromas build towards hints of lime marmalade and apricots that haven't quite started to diffuse from their crystalline cocoons. It's as if the wine, with all its honeyed citrus and roasted hazelnuts, its wild woody herbs and ripe peaches, is inside a membrane-thin glass capsule – just out of reach, all the beauty there, almost there, but in waiting. As with every vintage of this wine, the structure is what makes your skin tingle. The tension between bitterness and linearity, fruit and salt-stone minerality, is so pronounced you could pluck it and make the stars weep."
