The fruit comes from low-yielding Barossa vineyards farmed by a handful of the estate’s long-standing growers, and 2018 was a near-perfect growing season. Expect blackberry, plum and black cherry on the nose, with dark chocolate, liquorice, cracked pepper and a gentle lift of smoky oak. The palate is full-bodied and plush, its concentrated dark fruit held in shape by firm, fine-grained tannins and carried through to a long, savoury finish.
