Château Pavie Macquin Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (Premier Grand Cru Classé) 2017
Description
"80% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very dark with black core. Lots of sweet and spicy oak on the nose. Dry, dark-fruited and powerful palate. It is far from approachable now but the fruit and the tannins are meshed and harmonious. Not a lot of flesh but the tannins are fine enough so that everything is in balance. Embryonic in the extreme but promising." 16.5 Points, JH, JancisRobinson.com
