Le Domaine du Grapillon d’Or evokes an authentic and beautiful family history. Created in 1806, the property has always remained in the hands of the Chauvet family. For the past 40 years, Bernard has managed and successfully developed the wine estate. He has been assisted by his daughter, Celine, for 20 years. Celine manages the delicate process of vinification as well as the business management of the estate.

It's a lively and fruity wine for drinking every day or with friends. It shows both a ripe cassis and an edge of cassis leaf, then fresh red fruit. Juicy, staightforward but with that wonderful fresh dry style.

Serving suggestions: this wine is perfect with grilled meat, pizza, exotic dishes, risotto, pasta, summer dishes, salad and cheese. You can serve it chilled.

Domaine du Grapillon d'Or

The Domaine du Grapillon d'or was built in 1806 although the Chauvet family had been present in Gigondas, in the heart of Provence since 1630. Since that date, numerous developments have been carried out by successive generations. 30 years ago, Celine, the 9th generation, joined her father at the estate to take charge of the winemaking and management. The 14-hectare vineyard in Gigondas, which is mainly located on the hillsides, is mainly composed of Grenache and Syrah.

Southern Rhone

Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters, it is ideal for viticulture. The Southern Rhône is famous for its blends, particularly from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, producing rich, full-bodied reds with complex flavours of dark fruit, spices, and herbs. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the most prestigious appellation, known for its powerful and age-worthy wines. It also excels in producing aromatic whites and refreshing rosés. With its varied terroir and traditional winemaking techniques, the Southern Rhône offers a captivating wine experience for enthusiasts seeking high-quality and flavourful wines.
