Terms & Conditions

No binding contract exists until we receive payment and confirm your order by email. Orders are subject to your cancellation rights, and we may amend these terms for future transactions without notice.

Prices shown on the website apply to online sales only and are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable you’ll be refunded; in the event of a pricing error we’ll contact you to reconfirm or cancel. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.

We will supply an ensuing vintage when the one quoted is no longer available. Please tell us if you’d prefer not to receive a substitute; otherwise returns are subject to our terms, with return carriage at your cost.

We accept Maestro, Switch, Visa and Mastercard. Card details are encrypted and authorised by your card issuer, and we may validate your details against commercial records to help prevent fraud.

We deliver to the address you provide; non-mainland UK addresses may incur additional charges. All deliveries require a signature from an adult aged 18 or over. Standard delivery is within 3 working days, though in rare cases this may be as long as 10.

Broken bottles are refunded or replaced. Please notify us within 24 hours and keep the damaged goods for inspection, noting any issues on the courier’s documentation at the time of delivery.

Corked, tainted or faulty wines can be exchanged if the bottle and cork are returned. Remote customers may arrange returns at their own carriage cost, by prior agreement.

You may cancel within seven working days of receiving the goods by writing to sales@highburyvintners.co.uk with your order details. Post-delivery cancellations require collection at your expense unless the goods are faulty. Refunds are processed within 30 days.

Free glass hire is available to local customers buying at least 12 bottles. Breakages are £3.50 per glass and there is a cleaning charge of £5 per 24 glasses; ice bins are £15 each if not returned within three days.

Available on bulk orders in place of a discount. Goods must be returned in resalable condition, in original packaging, unused and normally stocked.

We keep your order and payment information secure and use your data to fulfil orders and, where agreed, send marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line.

These terms are governed by English law, and the English courts have jurisdiction over any disputes.

The site is for your personal use under these terms. You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. Your personal details are kept confidential and your card details are not stored.

We may update these terms for legal or operational reasons. Changes take effect after notice by email or on-site; continued use of the site means you accept them.

You must be 18 or over and provide accurate, complete details, keeping them up to date so that we can contact you when needed.

Keep your password confidential and tell us immediately if you suspect a breach. We may require a password change or suspend an account where there is a security risk.

Site content is protected by copyright and trademarks. You may view, store or print materials for personal, non-commercial use only; any other use requires our written permission.

You must not interfere with other people’s access or copy protected material without permission. You are liable for any resulting losses or costs to us.

We aim to offer the best service possible but cannot promise the site will always meet your requirements. Maintenance may occasionally restrict access; please report faults to sales@highburyvintners.co.uk.

We may suspend or cancel your registration at our discretion or for a breach of these terms. You may cancel by written notice; this does not affect your statutory rights.

We aim for accuracy but give no warranties on third-party content. Our liability is limited to foreseeable losses and excludes business losses such as lost data or profits; we are not liable for viruses or data damage, except for unsafe products or negligent injury.

Links to external sites are provided for convenience only; we take no responsibility for their content.

These terms are governed by English law and disputes are settled in the English courts. International users access the site at their own risk.

You cannot transfer your rights; we may transfer ours provided your rights are not affected. We are not liable for breaches caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
