Anti-Slavery Statement

Highbury Vintners is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

We buy wine directly from producers around the world, as well as through UK importers and distributors, and sell to individual customers and businesses across the UK.

We recognise that parts of the wine industry, particularly seasonal and agency labour at harvest, carry a higher risk of exploitation. To address this, we carry out recruitment checks on our own staff, train our team to recognise the signs of modern slavery, and share our Ethical Policy with suppliers and business partners. We also have a whistleblowing policy so concerns can be raised safely, and we assess suppliers for risk as part of our buying process.

We will not knowingly work with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking. Where we identify a concern, we will investigate it and act on it.
