Description

The Pinot Gris grapes for this delicious orange wine are grown in duplex, decomposed granite, red loamy clay soils in the rocky and leaner hilltops of Murrumbateman. The winemaker tries to intervene in the vinification as little as possible, involving the skins more and with minimal fussing around prior to packaging Spicy, pink grapefruit, a hint of cranberry and strawberry even. The skin contact gives good texture yet still the wine is delicate and reserved.
