Description

From the Jumilla region of Spain, the wine is a single varietal Monastrell aged in oak for 12 months. Intense cherry red colour, deep, bright, attractive. Clean aroma, with remarkable intensity. The wine is aged 12 months in American Oak. An aroma of ripe red fruit (blackberry, cherry) accompanied by spicy and balsamic aromas, scrub, leather and liquorice.

On the palate, it is a well-structured wine, very elegant and expressive. Soft and velvety, with elegant and harmonious tannin, warm but balanced wine with a fair and refreshing acidity, well-integrated and with a persistent and intense finish.

Finca Bacara

Founded in 2016, Finca Bacara is a project born from the persistence of the owners with the purpose of transmitting the best expression of wines and old Monastrell vines, to acknowledge the climate, soil, and surrounding who witness their growth throughout time. They defend the authenticity of Monastrell grapes, as a tribute to the land. The outer appearance of the wines is the only thing that is left to chance.

Murcia

Murcia, located in southeastern Spain, is a notable wine region known for its warm climate and diverse wine offerings. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters, which is favourable for viticulture.
It is particularly renowned for its robust reds, including those made from Monastrell (Mourvèdre), which produce rich, full-bodied wines with intense fruit flavours and spicy notes. It also produces notable whites, such as those from the Airén and Verdejo grapes, known for their fresh, aromatic profiles and crisp acidity.
