Description

Produced from 100% Rolle (Vermentino), this white wine comes from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils within the AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence. Situated at an altitude of around 380 metres, the cooler vineyard conditions help preserve the grape's natural acidity and aromatic intensity. Under the direction of winemaker Claire Michel, careful vineyard management and gentle winemaking techniques result in a wine of freshness, balance and precision.

L'Oratoire Blanc is produced at Domaine Saint Andrieu, an estate nestled in the hills of Provence near Correns. Benefiting from elevated vineyards, cooling influences and limestone-rich soils, the domaine is renowned for crafting wines that combine purity, freshness and a strong sense of place. Owned by Jean-Paul and Nancy Bignon of Château Talbot in Bordeaux, the estate is committed to sustainable viticulture and has held High Environmental Value (HVE) certification since 2017.

Provence

Provence, located in southeastern France, is celebrated for its picturesque landscapes and exceptional wines, particularly rosés. The Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters, is ideal for viticulture. Provence rosés, made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre, are renowned for their pale colour, crisp acidity, and delicate flavours of red berries and citrus. The area also produces robust reds and aromatic whites. Provence’s diverse terroir, combined with traditional winemaking techniques, results in wines that reflect the beauty and richness of the region. It is a must-visit for wine enthusiasts seeking elegant and refreshing wines.
