Description
Astobiza's vineyard is located in the small rural town of Oquendo, in the province of alava, about 30 minutes from Bilbao. Located 250 meters above sea level, it is protected by mountains and far from the valley floor.
This Txakoli is clean and crisp with flavours of pear, grapefruit and peach. The palate is lively with a dash of refreshing minerality.
Serve cold, in a glass, at about 8-10 degrees, it is ideal to combine with sushi, white fish and cold seafood. For contrasting pairings, try with Gorgonzola and Cabrales type cheese for an interesting juxtaposition.
