La Cuverie

La Cuverie Gloussard is an emerging natural wine producer located in the heart of Burgundy, France. Founded by Frédéric Gloussard, the estate is situated in the Côte Chalonnaise, a region known for its expressive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Frédéric, a passionate winemaker with a deep respect for the traditions of Burgundy, established La Cuverie Gloussard with the vision of crafting wines that authentically represent the region’s unique terroir while embracing a natural, low-intervention approach.
The vineyards of La Cuverie Gloussard are cultivated organically, with a strong focus on sustainable farming practices. Frédéric believes in nurturing the health of the soil and the vines through natural methods, avoiding synthetic chemicals and promoting biodiversity. The estate’s vineyards are planted primarily with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the hallmark varietals of Burgundy, which thrive in the region’s limestone-rich soils and temperate climate.

Jura

Jura, a small yet distinctive wine region in eastern France, is celebrated for its unique wines and picturesque landscapes. Nestled between Burgundy and Switzerland, it benefits from a cool climate and varied soils, ideal for producing a diverse range of wines. The region is particularly renowned for its oxidative whites, such as Vin Jaune, made from the Savagnin grape and aged under a layer of yeast, resulting in complex, nutty, and slightly tangy flavours. It also excels in producing fresh and vibrant white wines from Chardonnay, as well as light, earthy reds from Pinot Noir, Trousseau, and Poulsard. The region's sparkling wines, Crémant du Jura, are made using traditional methods and are known for their finesse and elegance. With its blend of traditional winemaking techniques and unique terroirs, Jura offers a fascinating wine experience for enthusiasts seeking distinctive and high-quality wines.
