Description

On the nose are lifted aromas of black forest fruits, plus a touch of allspice and dried herbs. Generous and elegant on the palate with bright blackberry and dark plum notes. A good backbone of fresh acidity, tempered by the savoury finish garnished with hints of black pepper and dark chocolate.

Ox Hardy

Thomas Hardy purchased the Upper Tintara Vineyard in McLaren Vale in 1871, which heralded the foundation of one of Australia’s great winemaking dynasties. Today, his great-grandson, Andrew ‘Ox’ Hardy and his siblings are the custodians of the picturesque 138 hectare property from which they make wine that is a true reflection of both variety, and the vineyard.

South Australia

South Australia, the heart of Australian winemaking, is renowned for its diverse wine regions and exceptional quality. Home to the iconic Barossa Valley, the state produces some of the world's finest Shiraz, known for its bold, rich flavours. The cooler climate of the Adelaide Hills is perfect for elegant Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, while the Clare Valley is celebrated for its crisp, aromatic Riesling. McLaren Vale is famed for its robust Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. The diverse terroir, from coastal regions to high-altitude vineyards, allows for a wide variety of grape varieties and wine styles. South Australia remains a must-visit destination for wine lovers seeking premium, world-class wines.
