The Chenin Blanc is harvested from a single vineyard on the Biodynamic farm Reyneke, located in the Polkadraai Hills to the west of Stellenbosch. The vineyards are the oldest on the farm being in excess of 50 years old and are located on a combination of decomposed granitic loam on a clay sub-soil. It has a lovely bouquet of fresh mandarins and kumquat followed through by floral notes and honeycomb undertones. The palate has a beautiful freshness with a tight linear structure. Layers of citrus fruit, washed stone and spice carries through to a long aromatic finish.
