Tyler Winery focuses exclusively on pinot noir and chardonnay from exceptional sites in the Santa Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley, where marine soils, transverse valleys and cool ocean influence create ideal growing conditions. The approach favours delicacy and balance over extraction, with neutral oak used to let the fruit speak for itself. Around 7,500 cases are produced each year.

It begins with haunting notions of chaparral and sagebrush, next offering white peaches, spring honey, roasted almonds and matchstick scents. The generous palate balances intellectual intrigue with sheer deliciousness, featuring satiny waves of herbal fruit that continue to evolve over a tremendously long finish.
