Domaine Jeandauge

Domaine Jeandaugé, nestled in Gers (Gascony), spans 28 ha and has been with the Fezas family since the 1800s. Sébastien Fezas, who took over in 2012, transitioned the estate from conventional to organic and biodynamic viticulture, employing cover crops, native plant preparations, and minimal soil disturbance.

Grapes are hand‑harvested, fermented spontaneously in concrete or cement vats, often with whole‑bunch or semi‑carbonic maceration, and aged in concrete or barrel without sulphur additions. The resulting cuvées—Tannat, Syrah, white blends like Colombard‑Ugni Blanc, rosé—are expressive, terroir‑driven, low‑intervention wines showcasing Gascony’s character.

South-West

The South West Region of France, known for its diverse landscapes and rich winemaking heritage, offers a wide variety of distinctive wines. Benefiting from a mix of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, the region's climate is ideal for viticulture. It is renowned for its robust reds, such as Malbec from Cahors and Tannat from Madiran, which are known for their deep colour, intense flavours, and excellent ageing potential. The area also produces elegant whites from grapes like Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng in Jurançon, known for their aromatic and vibrant profiles. Additionally, Bergerac and Gaillac are notable appellations offering both red and white wines of exceptional quality. With its combination of unique terroirs, indigenous grape varieties, and traditional winemaking methods, the South West Region provides a rich and varied wine experience for enthusiasts seeking something truly special.
