Vincent Paris

Vincent Paris, hailing from Cornas in the Northern Rhône Valley, is celebrated for his outstanding Syrah wines. His winemaking journey began in 1997, starting modestly in a small garage before he established his own facility in 2001. Most of his vineyards, some of which are over a century old, were inherited from his grandfather, with additional parcels acquired from his uncle, the renowned vigneron Robert Michel. Today, his estate spans around 8 hectares, with 6.5 hectares in Cornas and 1.5 hectares in Saint-Joseph.

Dedicated to organic farming, Vincent Paris integrates biodynamic practices throughout his vineyards. He carefully prunes his vines to maintain just four grape bunches per vine, focusing the plant's energy to enhance grape quality. In his winemaking process, he employs a mix of stainless steel vats and both barrique and demi-muid barrels, fermenting with native yeasts. To preserve the authentic character of his wines, he deliberately avoids using new oak.

Northern Rhone

The Northern Rhône, a prestigious wine region in southeastern France, is celebrated for its exceptional Syrah-based red wines and aromatic white wines. Characterised by its steep, terraced vineyards along the Rhône River, it benefits from a continental climate with hot summers and cold winters, ideal for viticulture. The Northern Rhône is particularly renowned for its powerful and elegant red wines from Syrah, notably from appellations like Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, and Cornas. It also produces exquisite white wines from Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne, especially in Condrieu and Saint-Joseph. The unique terroir, combined with traditional winemaking techniques, imparts distinctive flavours and complexity to the wines. The Northern Rhône offers a remarkable experience for wine enthusiasts seeking some of France's finest and most storied wines.
