Description

Aromas driven by floral notes such as violets and lilies, with blueberries and eucalyptus. Round and rich palate, yet vivid and fresh, with ripe cherry and blueberry essence, alongside Madagascar vanilla and allspice. A long and flavourful finish.

A blend from two of the estate-grown vineyards: Csukma and Makár. These neighbouring vineyards are located in the colder area of Siklós. Grapes grown in Csukma vineyards are only used for premium wines, while Makár is the heart-and-soul of our Siklós style blends.

After thorough selection of the hand-picked clusters, the grapes were destemmed, and after a couple of hours of prefermentative cold soak, the fermentation started. Fermentation happened in stainless steel tanks. After 28 days of skin contact, the wine was gently pressed. Aged for 17 months in 225 litre French barrels, mostly in second use barrels, with a small percentage of new oak as well.
