Pale straw with a glint of green, the nose offers clean aromas of lemon zest, green apple, pear and subtle white flowers, backed by chalky minerality. On the palate it is crisp and energetic: citrus (lime, grapefruit) and orchard fruit flavours mingle with a very fine stony character. The acidity is bright and mouth‑watering, keeping the wine focused and lean, yet there is a pleasing roundness from gentle lees ageing. The finish is dry, fresh, mineral‑laden and of moderate length, with hints of oyster shell or wet stone lingering on the aftertaste.
