La Geynale, named after ‘Genêt’, a small bush plant, is a single parcel of old vines between 80-100 years old. Exceptionally fresh, balanced with both a silky texture and grippy tannins, this will age beautifully. This domaine is truly a gem in the northern Rhône, demonstrating typicity, or rather ‘soil to glass transfer’ as described by John Livingstone-Learmonth at the 10th anniversary.
