No one’s really sure why concentration comes from older vines, but here it is in evidence. 175g/l.

Intense richness and bright acidity. Driven by orange peel marmalade and saffron aromatics. Pair with Foie Gras.

Chateau Tirecul La Graviere

The project began in 1992 by Claudie and Bruno Bilancini, who spotted potential in this ancient Premier Cru of Monbazillac - old vines planted on the best hillside slope of the region and a soil free from chemical fertiliser.

From the first vintages, the wines received international and national acclaim, to such an extent that by 1997 they found they had the means to purchase the domaine and begin implementing rigorous standards for the vineyard.

From the very beginning they chose to have a respectful approach to the environment, then decided to formalise this by converting to organic farming in 2009. Since 2012, all the wines are officially organic.

South-West

The South West Region of France, known for its diverse landscapes and rich winemaking heritage, offers a wide variety of distinctive wines. Benefiting from a mix of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, the region's climate is ideal for viticulture. It is renowned for its robust reds, such as Malbec from Cahors and Tannat from Madiran, which are known for their deep colour, intense flavours, and excellent ageing potential. The area also produces elegant whites from grapes like Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng in Jurançon, known for their aromatic and vibrant profiles. Additionally, Bergerac and Gaillac are notable appellations offering both red and white wines of exceptional quality. With its combination of unique terroirs, indigenous grape varieties, and traditional winemaking methods, the South West Region provides a rich and varied wine experience for enthusiasts seeking something truly special.
