Description

Produced in very limited quantities, Annonce de Bélair-Monange benefits from the same attention as the Grand Vin, both in the vineyard and in the cellar: meticulous, sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture, followed by manual harvesting when the grapes have reached optimal maturity. Vinification takes place in concrete and stainless steel vats, where maceration and extraction are gentle and measured to allow the fruit to fully express itself. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels.

Annonce is very friendly from a young age, however a few years of aging or a few hours of decanting will be amply rewarded.

"A very precise and transparent second wine of Chateau Belair Monange with medium body, super integrated and refined tannins and a very, very long finish. Balanced and harmonious. Drink or hold."

Chateau Belair-Monage

Château Bélair‑Monange produces elegant, limestone-driven Saint-Émilion wines led by Merlot with Cabernet Franc. The estate emphasizes precision viticulture, low yields, and careful parcel selection across its historic clay-limestone plateau vineyards. Grapes are hand-harvested, sorted meticulously, and fermented plot-by-plot in temperature-controlled vats to preserve terroir expression. Aging typically occurs in French oak barrels, adding structure and refinement without overwhelming freshness. The wines are known for dark fruit, floral aromatics, mineral tension, and silky yet age-worthy tannins, combining power with notable finesse and balance.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux, one of the most prestigious wine regions in the world, is located in southwestern France and is celebrated for its exceptional wines. It benefits from a temperate maritime climate, influenced by the nearby Atlantic Ocean, providing ideal conditions for viticulture. It is particularly renowned for its red wines, primarily blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, offering rich, complex flavours and excellent ageing potential. Notable sub-regions include Médoc, Saint-Émilion, and Pomerol. Bordeaux also produces exquisite white wines, both dry, from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, and sweet, from the Sauternes and Barsac areas. The region's unique terroir, combined with centuries-old winemaking traditions, results in wines of unparalleled quality and distinction. Bordeaux remains a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts seeking world-class wines and a rich viticultural heritage.
