Description

This offers classic Right Bank charm in a fresh, approachable style. The nose is inviting, with aromas of ripe red plum, black cherry, and a touch of violet, underpinned by gentle hints of cedar and graphite. On the palate, it's medium-bodied and fruit-forward, with soft tannins and a smooth, supple texture. Juicy red berry flavours are complemented by subtle earthy tones and a whisper of spice, leading to a clean, balanced finish. An easy-drinking Bordeaux that shines with casual meals or on its own, best enjoyed young while its vibrant fruit is at its peak.

Domaine Grand Jour

The Domaine Grand Jour is located in the commune of Yvrac, taking root in the first hillsides of the right bank of Bordeaux.

10 hectares of vines, land, woods, and their family home make up this natural setting at the gateway to the city. Established since January 2022, and in conversion to Organic Agriculture since the beginning of the adventure, they consider themselves wine artisans.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux, one of the most prestigious wine regions in the world, is located in southwestern France and is celebrated for its exceptional wines. It benefits from a temperate maritime climate, influenced by the nearby Atlantic Ocean, providing ideal conditions for viticulture. It is particularly renowned for its red wines, primarily blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, offering rich, complex flavours and excellent ageing potential. Notable sub-regions include Médoc, Saint-Émilion, and Pomerol. Bordeaux also produces exquisite white wines, both dry, from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, and sweet, from the Sauternes and Barsac areas. The region's unique terroir, combined with centuries-old winemaking traditions, results in wines of unparalleled quality and distinction. Bordeaux remains a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts seeking world-class wines and a rich viticultural heritage.
