Made in the Swartland with minimal intervention, this Cabernet Franc is whole-bunch foot trodden, wild-fermented and gently extracted. The grapes grow on shale over clay soils at around 180 metres altitude, then the wine spends eleven months maturing in old French oak.
Bright and juicy, it shows raspberry and cherry fruit, lifted with thyme and white pepper, framed by chalky tannins and a fresh, lingering finish. Approachable yet distinctive, it’s a vibrant, characterful Cab Franc that shines slightly chilled.
