Description

Crafted from 50-year-old Pinot Noir vines, this refined wine showcases the essence of its terroir. Aged for 15 months in a mix of French oak barrels (Allier & Vosges) and stainless steel tanks, it achieves a delicate balance of fruit purity and subtle oak influence.

The careful manual harvest and triple sorting process ensure only the finest grapes make it into the bottle. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a gentle extraction process highlight the wine’s finesse, preserving its vibrant aromas and silky texture.

Perfect for those who appreciate a supple, lightly structured, and fruit-forward Pinot Noir, this wine offers an elegant expression of red fruit aromas and freshness.

The nose is fresh and elegant, with vibrant red fruit aromas. Supple and smooth on the palate, with a delicate structure and a lively, fruity finish. Pair it with white meats (chicken, turkey, pork), poultry-based dishes; savoury pies and tarts and light cheeses.

Best served at: 16°C - 17°C. Aging potential: 3 to 4 years

A beautifully crafted Pinot Noir that delivers elegance, freshness, and pure drinking pleasure.

The region is divided into five main wine-producing areas: Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and Mâconnais. Burgundy’s complex terroir, characterised by diverse soils, microclimates, and slope orientations, plays a critical role in the distinctive characteristics of its wines. The region's classification system includes Grand Cru, Premier Cru, Village, and Regional appellations, reflecting the hierarchy of quality and location. Burgundy’s vineyards, many with centuries-old histories, produce wines that are revered for their elegance, depth, and expression of terroir.
