Description

Produttori del Barbaresco produces nine single vineyard Riserva wines, but only in great vintages. These wines are made from a selection of grapes sourced from nine historically premium sites located in the Barbaresco village: Asili, Montefico, Montestefano, Muncagota, Ovello, Paje, Pora, Rabaja, and Rio Sordo.

Since their first release in 1967, they have been vinified and aged in the same style to showcase their unique personalities in their purest form. The vinification process includes fermentation at 30°C, 32 days of skin contact, and malolactic fermentation. Afterward, the wine is aged for 36 months in large oak barrels and 9 months in the bottle.

Piedmont

Piedmont or Piemonte, located in northwestern Italy, is renowned for its prestigious and diverse wines. The region's varied climate and rich soils, particularly in the Langhe and Monferrato areas, are ideal for viticulture. It is famous for its robust reds, especially Barolo and Barbaresco, both made from the Nebbiolo grape, known for their complex aromas, rich tannins, and ageing potential. It also excels in Barbera, producing wines with vibrant acidity and cherry notes, and Dolcetto, offering fruit-forward, approachable reds. On the white side, Gavi, made from the Cortese grape, is known for its crisp, refreshing character. Piemonte’s blend of traditional winemaking techniques and modern innovations offers a rich and sophisticated wine experience.
