Pyren Vineyard

Pyren Vineyard, founded in 1999 by brothers Brian and Kevyn Joy in Victoria’s Warrenmang Valley, is now led by winemaker Leighton Joy and viticulturist Graeme Miles. Mature vines, organic (uncertified) farming, and minimal intervention practices produce high-quality fruit. East–west planting and surrounding mountains aid vineyard balance. Winemaking emphasises wild fermentation and expressive evolution. Their philosophy blends fruit integrity with creativity, seen in the terroir-driven Earthscape range, playful Little Ra Ra wines, and age-worthy Reserve bottlings—balancing innovation with tradition.

Victoria

Victoria, a distinguished wine region in Australia, is renowned for its diverse climates and exceptional wines. The state boasts a variety of sub-regions, each with unique terroirs. The Yarra Valley, with its cool climate, is celebrated for elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Mornington Peninsula produces exquisite Pinot Gris and Shiraz, while the Heathcote region is famed for its rich, bold Shiraz. Victoria's Rutherglen area is known for its fortified wines, particularly Muscat. This diversity in climates and soils allows Victoria to offer a wide range of high-quality wines, making it a vibrant and dynamic destination for wine enthusiasts.
