Description

The full two week holiday, delivered to your door. It opens with two bottles of fizz, a proper Cremant de Bourgogne and a Loire sparkling rose, then runs through four whites: a fragrant Grenache Blanc and Viognier from the Languedoc, a taut South African Chenin, a dry Vouvray with real Loire cut and an unoaked Cabardes Chardonnay. Three roses follow, from pale Provence through organic Devon to a savoury Abruzzo rosato. Three reds close it out, every one of them better with half an hour in the fridge: a juicy low intervention Tempranillo, a Chinon Cabernet Franc from one of the Loire greats, and a classic Rioja Crianza for the evening it finally cools down. Nothing here needs decanting and nothing here needs a special occasion.
