Description

"45% Malbec, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 18% Merlot. Vinified in cement tanks between 29 and 32 °C with 'many daily pumpovers'. No filtration, no pre-fermentative cold maceration, no correction of the natural acidity of the grapes, no bleeding during fermentation maceration, and no enzymes of any kind are added during vinification. Each variety is fermented independently, and as soon as the fermentations are finished, the final blend is made to be sent to the barrel as a blended wine. 15 months in French oak barrels, 50% new barrels and 50% second-use barrels. Powerful, intense, concentrated. The sumptuously glossy ripeness of the fruit barricades the grandiose tannins to the back of the chorus line. Plenty of acidity, but it is in balance and it is integrated. Iris and orris root, liquorice and blueberry. A bit of a stallion. Drink 2024 - 2035"

Mendoza

Mendoza, Argentina's most renowned wine region, is synonymous with exceptional winemaking and world-class wines. Nestled at the foothills of the Andes, Mendoza's high-altitude vineyards benefit from abundant sunshine, cool nights, and minimal rainfall, creating perfect conditions for grape cultivation. The area is particularly famous for its Malbec, offering rich, full-bodied wines with dark fruit flavours and a velvety texture. It also excels in producing excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Torrontés. The diverse terroir, with its variety of soils and microclimates, imparts a unique character to its wines. Mendoza remains a must-visit destination for wine lovers seeking outstanding and memorable wines.
