This wine is a blend of 84% Tempranillo, 9% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo and 2% Garnacha. It spends 19 months in American oak barrels, giving it a complex and elegant character. The aroma is rich and fruity, with hints of plum, cherry, berry, liquorice and balsamic. The palate is smooth and balanced, with soft tannins and crisp acidity. The finish is long and mineral, with touches of sweet spice and ripe plum. This wine goes well with lamb, beef and - of course - jamon!
