Evan Williams

In 1783, Evan Williams opened Kentucky’s First Distillery on the banks of the Ohio River. Many years and barrels later, they still produce Bourbon using the same time-honoured methods.

The state's unique climate, with its hot, humid summers and cold winters, combined with its rich, limestone-filtered water, creates ideal conditions for whiskey production.

Today, Kentucky remains synonymous with high-quality bourbon and continues to lead the industry with its tradition of craftsmanship and innovation.
