With a history that dates back to 1570, the Girardin family is one of the oldest and most respected wine producers in Burgundy. Justin Girardin is the 13th generation to run the family estate, which spans 17 hectares of prime vineyards in Santenay, Savigny-les-Beaune and beyond. He is passionate about preserving the unique character of each terroir and crafting wines that reflect the quality and diversity of Burgundy.

This wine is a fine example of his style: supple and elegant, with aromas of red berries and a smooth palate. It has a lovely structure and finesse, showing the charm of Pinot Noir from Savigny-les-Beaune. It is a versatile wine that can pair well with lamb, veal, duck, poached eggs, Brie or Camembert.

Justin Girardin

The Girardin family have worked the land in Burgundy for a long time but only moved to specialise in winemaking at the end of WW2. Over generations acquiring parcels on the best terroirs of Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard and Savigny-les-Beaune. The estate continues to grow and today covers the best terroirs of the Côte de Beaune. Justin took over the estate in 2017. He puts his know-how at the service of the vines to make the best wine every year.
