Description

"Hints of chalk and a flicker of lemon appear on the shy nose of this wine before a touch of honey promises richness. With a little more air fine notions of toasted hazelnut appear. The palate combines contrarian notions of freshness with creamy roundness, buttery mellowness with brisk foam. For the finish, the wine reverts to that lovely chalky notion and is absolutely dry. 94 points." (Anne Krebiehl MW, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, December 2019)

Domaine Bott-Geyl

The Bott-Geyl estate was born from a meeting, that of two winegrowing families long established in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards. Over the years, each member of the family has participated in the accumulation of a beautiful heritage of vines and in the construction of the identity of the estate through purchases, rentals and exchanges of plots. Since 1993, Jean-Christophe and Valérie have continued the family adventure, respecting traditions. They will pass on this family heritage to their sons.

Alsace

Alsace, located in northeastern France along the Rhine River, is renowned for its exceptional white wines and picturesque vineyards. It benefits from a unique microclimate, with long, dry growing seasons and diverse soils, ideal for viticulture. It is particularly famous for its aromatic white wines, including Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris, which are celebrated for their purity, vibrant acidity, and expressive aromas. The area also produces excellent Crémant d'Alsace, a sparkling wine made using traditional methods. Alsace wines are typically varietally labeled and known for their elegance and ability to age gracefully. With its charming villages, scenic landscapes, and rich winemaking heritage, Alsace offers a captivating experience for wine enthusiasts seeking high-quality and distinctive wines.
