This wine comes from a sloping vineyard near Meursault Perrieres Dessus in the area of Blagny. The soil is rich in clay and stones, which impart a flinty minerality to the wine. The vine struggles with drought in summer, resulting in concentrated and complex flavours. It has a lovely green-gold colour, a fragrant nose of honey and spices, and a sumptuous and rich mouthfeel. It has an elegant balance of texture, bounce, finesse and silkiness. It pairs well with grilled seafood (prawns), foie gras and blue cheese. Enjoy it between 2024 and 2029.
