Description

"There's just a single foudre of the 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Hommage A Jacques Perrin, and this behemoth was clearly one of the most impressive barrel samples I tasted from the vintage. Inky colored, rich, thick and unctuous, with tons of blackberry and blueberry fruits, cured meats, pepper and garrigue, it's a tour de force and I'm always amazed at the level of purity, concentration and depth the Perrin family is able to achieve with this wine. I know most people squirrel this cuvee away, but it offers incredible pleasure in its youth, as well (the 2009 and 2007 are insanely good today). Still, a decade of cellaring would be ideal.
97-99 Points."

The "Famille Perrin" way makes each wine unique: using organic and biodynamic approaches, mastering the art of blending and bringing out the freshness of the Southern aromas.

Southern Rhone

The Southern Rhône, a renowned wine region in southeastern France, is celebrated for its diverse and robust wines. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters, it is ideal for viticulture. The Southern Rhône is famous for its blends, particularly from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, producing rich, full-bodied reds with complex flavours of dark fruit, spices, and herbs. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the most prestigious appellation, known for its powerful and age-worthy wines. It also excels in producing aromatic whites and refreshing rosés. With its varied terroir and traditional winemaking techniques, the Southern Rhône offers a captivating wine experience for enthusiasts seeking high-quality and flavourful wines.
