Vachnadziani

Vachnadziani is one of the oldest wineries in the village Vachnadziani, in the Gurjaani Municipality, Georgia. Established in 1953, it builds on a rich tradition of winemaking. In 19th century, the winery was owned by the winemaker Noble Levan Jandieri, who was later exiled. During the collectivization, the winery "Red Cellar" was established and 200 kvevris were installed. In 1953 the winery was named Samtresti Shroma Winery and became the member of Gurjaani Wine Enterprises Union. In 1990 the winery was renamed “Vachnadziani Winery” and in 1995 transformed into Ltd “V”. In 2007 Ltd “V” was transferred to the Company WINERY KHAREBA.
