Voltes is a harmonious marriage of two native Greek grape varieties: Roditis and Moschofilero. These grapes, each with its distinct personality, come together to create a wine that sings of its terroir.
Roditis is grown in selected vineyards in the region of Achaia where it thrives in semi-mountainous terrain. Late-ripening and well-suited to the Mediterranean climate, Roditis produces wines that reflect their origin. At higher altitudes, where diurnal temperature shifts play their part, Roditis grapes yield complexity and natural acidity.
Moschofilero is a pink-skinned, aromatic grape from the plateau of Mantineia in Arcadia. The cool micro-climates of both regions infuse Moschofilero with freshness and fragrance. Hand-harvested, these grapes contribute to the blend’s vibrant character.
Pale lemon in colour this liquid offers a bouquet of freshly-cut flowers, green apple, and juicy stone fruit. There is good texture and refreshing acidity and a touch of minerality on the finish.
