Description

Erdevik is located in the western foothills of the Alma Mons (Fruska Gora), surrounded by low hills, plains to the south and at an elevation of 140. Vines were first planted here in AD 276 during the reign of the Emperor Probus. 

A Bordeaux-style wine with a twist, this is a blend of Merlot (24%), Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) and Syrah (26%). Intense aromas of ripe black and red fruits (from Merlot and Cabernet), are in perfect harmony with dark chocolate and lavender aromas (from Syrah). Ageing in oak, not only gives one more aromatic layer to the wine's complexity but has quite a positive influence on its overall balance.
