Description

A delicious blend of 60% Montepulciano and 40% Nero d'Avola. Light to medium cherry red. On the nose a bright and energetic swirl of red fruits jump out of the glass. Strawberries, cherries with some pomegranate and cranberries offering a freshness.

The palate reveals a lively, bouncy and exciting mix of red fruits, confectionary and blueberries. Dried herbs join in at the end with a nice taut acid line keeping everything fresh and delicious.

A wonderful snapshot of the changing Australian climate, their changing varietal mix and drinking patterns. A perfect summertime red, ideally consumed within a year or two of the vintage and served slightly chilled. A great accompaniment to an antipasto or charcuterie platter.
