Madeira is a volcanic island in the middle of the Atlantic around 1000 kilometers from the Portuguese mainland, Tinta Negra is a traditional varietal there. Grapes for this wine come from Estreito de Câmara de Lobos on the south side of the island. The vines are around 40 years old growing on trellises.
A bright fresh red with a herbaceous edge, made from Tinta Negra grown in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos on the south side of Madeira.The nose has bright notes of macerated strawberries and a herbaceous touch. Bright and fresh in the mouth with a long finish.
