Description

A classic Bandol red that’s Mourvèdre‑driven with Carignan, Grenache and Cinsault - powerful, earthy, spicy and wonderfully food‑friendly.

A complex nose with blackberry, earth and sage to name just a few. On the palate, it is silky smooth with elegant, rounded tannins and a lengthy finish. There has been some oak influence and there is a detectable hint of cinnamon.

At it's best with 3 - 8 years of bottle age, this wine benefits from a 60 - 90minute decant to open up and show the full range of aromas and flavours.
