A still red wine from a warmer-than-usual vintage in the Douro, this is succulent and ripe, with sweet, luscious blueberry fruit. The tannins are plentiful, yet are soft and gentle, building upon the sense of generosity in the wine. Rich and beautiful yet lifted by the freshness typical of this estate, this is really very impressive indeed.
