The 2023 Blanc comes from several sources, younger vines in Saint-Romain from plantings on the Northern side of the valley, high altitude chardonnay grapes from just outside Saint- Romain and some purchased fruit from the Mâconnais. Aged for one year in barrel.

Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson

Perched in the picturesque village of Saint-Romain, Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson is a family estate with a remarkable lineage dating back to the 12th century. Founded as an independent winery in 1947 by Henri Buisson, the domaine has long been at the forefront of sustainable viticulture, embracing organic methods by 2009 and full biodynamic certification by 2018. Today, brothers Franck and Frédérick Buisson carry the torch, nurturing around 20 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines across some of Burgundy’s most expressive climats. Their hands-off approach in the cellar—often crafting cuvées without added sulphur—highlights the purity, balance, and striking sense of place that define their wines.
