Peninsula de Setubal

The Peninsula de Setúbal, located southwest of Lisbon along Portugal’s Atlantic coast, is renowned for its distinctive and high-quality wines. It benefits from a Mediterranean climate with cooling maritime influences, which contribute to its unique terroir.
The area is particularly famous for its fortified wines, especially Muscat of Setúbal, made from the Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains grape. This wine is known for its rich, honeyed sweetness, complex aromas of dried fruits and nuts, and a smooth, luscious texture.
