Chateau Smith Haut-Lafitte

The story of Château Smith Haut Lafitte began in the 14th century when Verrier Du Bosq signed the first recorded deeds for a few vine rows. The current owners Daniel and Florence Cathiard acquired the Château in 1990, with the firm intention of perpetuating its tradition of excellence. The estate owes its reputation as “the quintessential Graves” to both the smoky notes of its wines and its hilly terroir (Laffite or Lafite in old French.)
