Description

Voltes, a creation of the Monemvasia Winery Tsimbidi, is a light-bodied and fresh blend of two native Greek grape varieties: Agiorgitiko and Mavroudi. Grown in Laconia, near Monemvasia, these grapes bask in a warm and dry climate. The vineyard, perched at 200 meters above sea level, enjoys cooler nights, ensuring natural freshness. The clay-loam soils, with good water retention properties, nourish the vines during the warm, dry growth period. Hand-harvested at optimum maturity, the grapes undergo co-fermentation using classic red vinification techniques.

The result is a wine with ample notes of ripe red fruits and a hint of sweet spice.
